Sorry for not posting any pictures for a long time, but I can now share why I haven't. I've been working
on an iPhone app for photo editing called AfterLight, and it's now in the App Store!
You can check it out here - Afterlight.us
Since I'll be focusing my time on AfterLight and future shoots, I've decided to shut down my etsy shop and give all of my Photoshop actions away for free. Click the image below to download them!
I'm also currently in Missouri, documenting The Honey Trees full length album recording, so you'll be sure to see some of that soon! Here's an early look taken with my phone.

DeleteStrange, it's still working for me. If you can't get it to work, you can email me and I'll send them to you. simon@simonfilip.com
DeleteDoes not work for me either. I am trying it on CS6
DeleteI am trying to apply it on a text. The text remains as it is(black text) and it just creates a lot of layers and my entire image becomes a little brighter(Its text on a brick wall)
I've been following your blog for a while now and I would, every once in a while, check to see if I'd missed a post! Well, congratulations. I'm off to download it.

Can you use the actions with Photoshop elements?
ReplyDeleteI just figured it out for Elements 8, although I think it isn't working fully. You might have to surf around for a turorial that works for your elements version and computer version, but this one worked for PSE 8 and Windows 7:

Amazing! The app is so good! The link isn't working for me. Are they still available for download?
ReplyDeleteIf you're unable to download them, you can send me an email and I'll get back to you with the file. simon@simonfilip.com
DeleteThanks for sharing these beautiful actions !
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad the app is not available on Android...
Thanks so much for making all of your actions free - you're awesome! Going to try them all out.
ReplyDeleteFor those of you having problems with the download, I just deleted the .txt suffix that was attached to the name of the file. Once the name only ended with .atn I had no problem opening it in Photoshop!
ReplyDeleteThanks Simon for making these available! And I love the app!!
Does this work for photoshop elements? Not sure how to open it with that program...
ReplyDeleteThanks and CONGRATS!
Thank you so much for the actions! Much appreciated! :)
ReplyDeleteThe actions won't open for me either, it's just a bunch of crazy code texting. If you could email me at ourconscience@aol.com that would be totally rad! Thank you so much, I love your app!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to install de actions, but I can't. It's says there's an error and it is impossible to install. Any ideas?

thank you for offering your photoshop actions for free! As an android user I'm a little jealous of Afterglow... :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the actions! I downloaded Afterglow and it has quickly become my favorite editing app (don't tell vsco), so I am very excited to try out your photoshop actions. Also, I was having difficulties with downloading as well (I would get a screen with code), but when I opened it in chrome I was able to download without trouble. Just a tip for those having the same issue!

ReplyDeleteI've been loving Afterglow and had no idea the app creator was offering his actions for free until someone recommended them to me. So generous! Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI'm new here and just discover actions, I learn by playing around with photoshop and discovered your blog from Mandyfaith. Thanks for being so kind to share your actions and I'll be checking out the app you're working on too! Thankfully I'm not using android :D
